Portraits are my first love. I started shooting portraits with my dad’s film camera 12 years ago! They are still my favorite. I love everything about them - from the initial stages of the subject’s uneasiness in front of the camera, the journey the subject and I both take to reach a space that makes us both feel comfortable enough to be open, honest and ourselves with each other. And it’s in those moments where magic lies. That’s the magic I strive for.

I love capturing portraits that make the people in front of my camera feel their best, beautiful self, and more importantly, portraits that make people feel empowered.

I especially love seeing the women I shoot feel and revel in their power because the truth is that that 𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆. Sometimes, all it takes is seeing it through someone else’s eyes. And that’s just what I feel my role is.
